If the world were to end tomorrow, what would you have dedicated your last second to? This is one of the questions I ask when I feel like I'm falling apart in the face of the global crisis we're living through.

Months have passed that have felt like years. Trapped within four walls not knowing what to do, owning the routine and carrying feelings that weigh a ton. However, this doesn't have to be negative. Maybe you'd never had the chance to be with yourself, to really know the person you see in the mirror every day and ask: What do you want?

If you're one of those lucky enough to have health, food and a roof (my case for example), you're on the other side and have a lot to be grateful for. And if not, from the bottom of my heart I hope your situation improves.

This pandemic lets us discover things about ourselves we didn't even expect—among them family bonds, hidden talents or career changes. If this crisis had never existed, would you have dedicated yourself to what you love? Probably not, and I don't blame you—I wouldn't have either. But reinventing yourself is one of the nicest gifts this situation could have given us. It shows us what's important, and maybe to slow down, appreciate what we have and be grateful for it.

Don't think I'm unaware of how hard this can be for you—I know, it sucks, and it's going to keep sucking for a while, so... why don't we just bet on being brave, on daring to do impossible things, turn dreams stored in drawers into reality and finally bring to life the projects that keep us up at night.

With more or less willingness, dedicate time to yourself, turn off Netflix, set social media aside and pick up a passion you'd abandoned. As kids we're always asked what we want to do, and when we're adults we're sold the stupid idea that it's not possible... is it true?

This is an open letter inviting you to dare to fail, to prove to yourself that those voices were wrong. Show in small or big ways what you can achieve, move forward and above all enjoy the journey. Turn your failures into lessons and have fun in the process. There's no science or black magic to it. Discover what four walls can push you to achieve.
